Not Their Crime but Still Their Sentence: Supporting Children of Incarcerated Parents

Children of incarcerated parents often face a myriad of emotional, psychological, and educational challenges. This webinar will increase participant’s awareness of those challenges and highlight the needs of children of incarcerated parents. Information regarding factors that can impact adjustment to parental incarceration will be described as well as strategies that can be utilized to support the social and emotional well-being of this important and often ignored population of youth.
