Provides the following safety and education programs: Inspects child safety car seats and booster seats at monthly events throughout the community to ensure seat is correctly installed and safe. Assists parents in correctly installing child safety seats. Participates in the Safe Baby Academy to teach parents about car seat safety, infant CPR, home safety, water safety, and safe sleep practices. Serves as an American Heart Association authorized training center. Hosts CPR classes and first aid classes for groups. Does not provide CPR training for individuals. Offers Stop the Bleed courses to train the public on recognizing and immediately responding to life-threatening bleeding. Also offers online instruction. Presents to the community on safety topics by request, such as: child safety, senior safety, heart health, and Driving Under the Influence (DUI) prevention. Accepts requests for ambulances at nonprofit and community events.
