SOFTL: Mental Health Awareness

FirstLink’s Mental Health Awareness Training was developed by FirstLink using more than 35 years of crisis intervention experience in combination with the latest research on mental health and suicide. The awareness portion of the training gives an overview of common mental health conditions, national and regional statistics on mental health and suicide as well as sign and symptoms of a developing mental health concern. The intervention portion of the training reviews how to approach a person with a potential mental health condition, assessing for potential suicide risk and tips for making a safe plan. Finally, the training explores different resources for those dealing with a mental health condition.

This presentation is recommended for landlords, property managers, housing case managers, service providers and tenants.
