Provides free legal advice for victims of family violence or sexual abuse in the areas of family law, divorce, child custody, financial support and dating violence. Callers will be contacted by a staff attorney within 3-5 business days and may be referred to an attorney or agency for free consultation or representation.Hope Line can also provide assistance with safety plans, shelter locations, and other options for domestic violence victims. Services may also include assistance in obtaining protective orders and help with Crime Victim’s Compensation claims. Provides legal representation to minors seeking protective orders in Travis County.
