Provides primary health services for individuals experiencing homelessness, including: Physical exams Diagnosis and treatment of minor illness/injury and chronic illness Testing for HIV, hepatitis, STI, and TB Women’s health services, including: PAP smears, breast exams, pregnancy test, and contraception Nutrition counseling Medication prescription and pharmacy Mental health assessment Counseling Psychiatry Case managementOffers vision services off-site through the Right to Sight Clinic on a weekly basis.Offers dental services off-site on a weekly basis through a mobile clinic. May offer routine and emergency exams, teeth cleaning, fillings, sealants, and extractions. Provides referrals to other CommUnityCare dental clinics for dentures. Does not provide orthodontics (braces), implants, crowns or bridges.Operates a street medicine team who go out in the community 3 times each week to offer medical care to individuals experiencing homelessness who are not able to visit a CommUnityCare health center.Refers pediatric and pregnant patients to other CommUnityCare locations for services.Patients needing HIV services are referred to the David Powell Clinic.
