Provides early intervention services and support to babies, toddlers, and their families where the child naturally lives and place to promote learning. Offers service coordination; family education, training, and/or counseling; occupational, physical, and speech therapy, Developmental Rehabilitative Services, nutrition services and support, transportation and respite support, transition service linking and planning beyond ECI, opportunities to meet with other families, and a resource lending library. Provides vision and hearing screening as well as audiological evaluations. Who can make a referral? Anyone can make a referral – parents, doctors, family friends, child care providers, grandparents, foster parents, or others. If you notice your child is not reaching developmental milestones by a certain age, you can make a referral to ECI.
