Assists individuals who require stabilization without the intensity of inpatient hospitalization. Provides a transition up from weekly outpatient therapy appointments or a transition down from a higher level of care for adolescents, ages 12-17, adults, and geriatric patients with a psychiatric, trauma, chemical dependency, or dual diagnosis. Also assists individuals in developing healthy coping skills in order to handle daily stressors in a healthy way by attending programming centered around coping with symptoms related to substance abuse, depression, grief, mood instability, trauma and anxiety.
