The COVID-19 pandemic has created both short-term and long-term negative consequences for behavioral health outcomes. The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s Forum on Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders will host a free public virtual workshop: Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders in the Era of COVID-19: With a Special Focus on the Impact of the Pandemic on Communities of Color. The workshop will be free and open to the public via live webcast.
